What can you expect coming into therapy? How does it work?

For one hour out of your week, we will take intentional time in a relational and confidential way to process through all aspects of your life together. I believe this is one of the most courageous and sacred things we can ever do. This hour will become a catalyst for change in the remaining 167 hours of your week.

I believe that each of us longs to truly connect with ourselves and those around us, but we unknowingly self-sabotage our efforts for being known and loved. Therapy is a place where we can unravel the present painful symptoms that you are experiencing, but also address the underlying deeper issues from which the symptoms arise.

I attune to and collaborate with each client to meet them where they are and journey with them as a guide and companion towards the goals to which they aspire. By the end of treatment, I hope all of my clients grow to have a deeper experience of all their emotions, an ability to identify and meet their own needs, a playful and imaginative way of engaging life, compassion on where they have come from, freedom from the coping patterns that they used to feel stuck in, a genuine community and support network, and a greater capacity to find meaning in their life.

For clients in need

Since I am not in network with any insurance companies and I want to make therapy available for anyone who needs it, I allow for 5 clients at a given time to receive the same quality of therapy for a reduced fee. If you are unable to pay my full rate for any reason please feel free to ask about this option.

“In real pain we have no other choice but to learn to ask for help and on a daily basis. Pain tells us we belong and cannot live forever alone or in isolation. Pain makes us understand reciprocation.”
